How fast do you ship?

Orders leave our Raleigh studio within two to three business days, even during the holidays. If you have a genuine gift emergency and place the order before noon Eastern, reply to the confirmation email with “RUSH” in the subject line and we will do our best to ship the same day. Product Details

Car tags are cut from a solid billet of aluminum, so they feel substantial in the hand without being overly heavy. The typical tag measures about three inches long, one and a quarter inches wide, and an eighth of an inch thick, roughly the weight of two standard house keys. 

We mix paint from the factory base‑coat formula for your code, though small shifts can occur from temperature, humidity, and primer color just like a new bumper can vary from a metal panel. 

Every tag is finished by hand and dipped, so expect minor variations that come with a handmade piece rather than mass production. After testing dozens of coatings we chose one that resists scratching far better than standard automotive clear coat.

How long do custom pieces take?

Allow up to one week. Each tag is individually designed, laser engraved, and hand painted, so we build in a little extra time to be sure the color and finish are right.

What is the best way to reach you?

My package has not arrived yet—what should I do?

We ship with UPS Ground. Transit usually takes one to five business days, depending on the destination. When we create the label you will receive a tracking number so you can follow the shipment. Once a package is in transit we cannot change the address or speed up delivery, and weather or peak season volume can cause delays that are outside our control.

What happens if a package is returned?

If UPS cannot deliver because the address was incomplete or inaccurate the parcel comes back to us. Returned boxes can take a week to a month to arrive. Because the contents are fragile and often time‑sensitive, we do not reship; instead we issue a coupon so you can place a new order with the correct address.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship only within the United States.

How durable are the tags?

Very. We tested numerous coatings and selected the one that resisted scratching far better than standard automotive clear coat.

How close will the color be to my car?

We mix paint from factory basecoat formulas that match your code as closely as possible, but slight variations can occur due to temperature, humidity, and primer color—much like the difference you sometimes see between a metal panel and a bumper on a brand‑new vehicle.

Can you produce a custom design?

Yes. Email us with your idea and we will let you know what is feasible and how long it will take.

Can you handle bulk orders for a dealership?

Absolutely. Car tags make a memorable keychain with your logo. Get in touch for volume pricing and lead times.

Returns and Satisfaction

Because every custom tag is made to order we cannot accept returns or exchanges on custom pieces. Stock designs may be exchanged or returned within fourteen days of delivery as long as they are unused and in original packaging. If anything arrives damaged email a photo within forty‑eight hours and we will make it right.
